HOURLY SERVICES

CDAC

Consumer Directed Attendant Care (CDAC) refers to a Medicaid program in Iowa that allows recipients to find and hire their own in-home care. CDAC services are designed to assist individuals with activities of daily living, enabling them to remain in their homes. This program includes both skilled and unskilled services, such as personal care, homemaker services, respite care, and more.

HOURLY SCL

Hourly SCL (Supported Community Living) refers to SCL services provided on an hourly basis rather than a daily or 24-hour basis. These services are designed to support individuals with disabilities in living independently in the community, offering assistance with various aspects of daily living, such as personal needs, household tasks, and transportation.

IMMT

Interim Medical Monitoring and Treatment (IMMT) services are provided under Iowa Medicaid waivers to children and adults ages 18-20 who need medical care but cannot access it through other means. These services supplement existing resources, not replace them, and are ordered by a physician.

RESPITE

Respite care provides short-term relief to primary caregivers, allowing them to take a break from their daily caregiving responsibilities. It can be planned or emergency-based and is designed to support the caregiver's physical and mental well-being, as well as the health and well-being of the person receiving care.
